Signal Red Consulting is a UK wiring harness design consultancy built around one idea: the work that used to take weeks should take hours. We are design-only by choice. We do not own a build shop, we do not push you toward a preferred manufacturer, and we are happy to deliver in whichever CAD package your supply chain already runs on.

Routed in 3D against your vehicle or platform CAD — clash-checked, length-accurate, ready for packaging studies.

Bill of materials with part numbers, suppliers, lead-time flags and indicative pricing. Hand it to procurement and start ordering.

Complete spec sheet and end-of-line test feature definitions, written in the language your build partner already uses.

Common questions
Do you build the harnesses you design?
No, by design. We are a design-only consultancy. We hand the pack to whichever manufacturer you already use, or help you go to tender if you do not have one. That neutrality is part of the value.
Which CAD tools do you support?
Siemens Capital, Zuken E3.HarnessBuilder, Creo Schematics, NX Harness — plus our own platform and a handful of in-house systems. If your stack is something else — KBL exchange, custom EDS exports — say so on the first call and we will tell you straight whether we can match it.
How fast can you start?
Most engagements kick off within two weeks of brief sign-off. Quote and timeline back within two working days of an initial call.
What do you need from us to begin?
A vehicle or platform model (any common CAD format), an existing schematic if one exists, the constraints — voltage budget, sealing class, environmental targets — and the name of the build partner. We can work without any of these but the brief gets sharper with each one.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes, before we look at anything sensitive. Standard mutual NDA, or yours — whichever moves faster.
