Some harness problems do not outsource cleanly. The work is too tied to your day-to-day reviews, your CAD environment, your meeting cadence. What you actually want is a senior wiring engineer sitting in your team for three months, not a consultancy on the other end of an email chain.
That is what this service is. A named engineer, embedded in your programme, working in your tools, attending your reviews, reporting into your engineering manager. UK-based, fast to start, and easy to scale down again when the gap closes.

Day or month
Day rate for short bursts, monthly engagement for longer programmes. Three-month minimum on monthly, two-week notice to extend or close.

One week to NDA, kit, access, and a first review with your engineering lead. No long ramp-up — that is the point.

Embedded engineer reports into your line manager. Weekly written summary back to us, monthly review with all three sides.
Common questions
On-site or remote?
Either. Most of our seconded engagements are hybrid — a couple of days a week on site for design reviews, the rest from a UK home office. Fully remote works for some programmes; fully on-site works if the location is reasonable.
What is the minimum engagement?
One week on day rate, three months on monthly. Day rate suits a focused piece of work — design review, BOM costing, gap analysis. Monthly suits an actual seat-in-the-team engagement.
Who owns the IP?
You do. Everything the seconded engineer produces inside your programme is yours, full stop. Standard secondment contract terms — we share a draft on the first call.
